About Me

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved art. Growing up I would spend countless hours drawing and painting to articulate what I never could in words.

I knew I wanted to pursue a creative career which lead me to Architecture were I earned my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Reading. After I graduated in 2019, I worked for a couple of different developers where I spent most of my time making technical drawings.

I would paint in my free time outside of work where I’d be inspired by nature, Greek Mythology and gaming. My desire is to create pieces with a warmth and familiarity while also providing some escapism when looking at them.

My favourite artists are Van Gogh, Monet and Paul Signac. I love their use of bright colour and impressionist style brushstrokes to emphasise the movement in the scenes they paint. I find this style to be incredibly fulfilling as there is an elegant balance between detail driven brushwork and the loose strokes that are meant to capture the movement.
